May 20-23, 2013
Welcome to the National Extension Conference on Volunteerism, slated for May 20-23 at the Bavarian Inn and Lodge in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
The 2013 NECV provides an exciting opportunity for Extension staff working on issues related to volunteerism to learn and share resources with colleagues and collaborators across the nation. The conference brings together the resources of the land-grant system with county and state Extension faculty who build and sustain effective volunteer programs.
Join us for an exciting line up of international volunteerism speakers, peer-reviewed presentations and proceedings, group general sessions and networking.
The planning team of the 2013 National Extension Conference on Volunteerism has secured Tom McKee as the opening session Keynote speaker. For more information, visit the Keynote Speaker page in the left menu.
CoP Survey
During the 2013 National Extension Conference on Volunteerism, the Volunteer Administration Community of Practice (CoP) will be presenting a plenary session to describe the goals and vision of the CoP, explain its processes, and share the benefits to our audience. The CoP leadership committee seeks input, direction, and advice from NECV participants in order to better serve volunteer administrators and managers as a whole. Please complete the Volunteer Administration CoP Audience Input Survey, which will guide our conversation during NECV and provide structure to the community as it develops. The survey will close by the end of business on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
